Artist Patio House

Inspired by the sculptor Han Sai Por. This project's design was to achieve a house that is tailored to both the artist's creative needs and the surrounding landscape. Built into a sloped landscape, the house is integrated within the land, with carved-out spaces to enhance both functionality and design.

The residence is tailored to support Han Sai Por’s artistic practice, featuring a sculpture studio, a gallery for exhibitions, and a balance of private and public spaces that cater to both solitude and engagement. The manipulation of the landscape not only enhances the space but also reflects the organic and nature-inspired themes that are presented within her work. Through this integration, the home becomes more than a living space—it serves as an environment that nurtures artistic exploration.
