Gateway, Facade and Space

This project presents a series of analytical diagrams that explore Downtown Miami, with Biscayne Boulevard serving as the central datum and axis of study. Acting as a gateway that connects different parts of the city, this corridor provided the foundation for an indepth analysis.

Through these diagrams, key urban elements such as hierarchy, grid systems, spatial relationships, repetition, and geometric patterns were examined. The insights gained from this analysis informed the design of a façade strategically overlooking the streets. This façade integrates live, interactive advertisements, enhancing the surrounding urban space and engaging with the city's vibrant energy. The project ultimately translates Miami’s architectural language into a visually compelling and contextually responsive design.
